The Abisko Pathfinders 3L trousers are shell trousers with a water resistant treatment combined with an electrospun membrane, resulting in a soft feel, good breathability and waterproofness.
This is a product for passionate outdoor lovers who value function, comfort and quality, to use on all hikes and everyday adventures in changing weather. The shell trousers are waterproof with taped seams. The fabric has high breathability, which is perfect for trekking, hiking or other activities with a higher activity level. The trousers are lightweight and therefore excellent to bring in your pack. The fabric is designed for high activity and has mechanical stretch, which provides good comfort during all kinds of movement, while the construction gives an exceptional fit. They have four zippered pockets, and the legs are reinforced and can be adjusted with a drawcord. The legs also have zippers that can be opened both from the top and from the bottom for ventilation when needed. All zippers are water resistant YKK Aquaguard® zippers, so water cannot get in that way either. The waist can be adjusted with a built-in belt, whose loops are fitted with small fabric hooks where you can hang your gear if needed.
The trousers also have an integrated RECCO® reflector in case of extreme weather or if an accident should occur during your hiking adventure. RECCO® is a rescue technology used by organised rescue teams to locate people who have gone missing in nature or been buried in an avalanche more quickly. The reflector can be described as a small antenna built into the trousers, so it is always with you. It is always active, as it is neither powered by batteries nor needs to be switched on. When in use, the rescue team uses a RECCO® detector that sends out a signal, which hits the reflector and bounces back so that the reflector can be located. With a built-in RECCO® reflector, you can feel safer during outdoor activities, e.g. when picking mushrooms and berries or hiking in the mountains.
