The Abisko Pathfinders 3L jacket is a shell jacket with a water resistant treatment which, combined with an electrospun membrane, results in a product with a soft feel, good breathability and waterproofness.

Designed for high activity, the fabric and its mechanical stretch provide good comfort during all kinds of movement, while the construction of the jacket gives an exceptional fit. The raised pockets and double chest pockets are all easily accessible even when wearing a hiking backpack with a hip belt. The jacket also has a zippered sleeve pocket. Long zippered ventilation openings under the arms keep you comfortable during the most strenuous hiking activities and sudden changes in weather. The jacket has an adjustable hood with a built-in peak that protects against rain and a water resistant YKK Aquaguard® zipper, so water cannot get in that way either. The hem can be adjusted with a drawcord and the cuffs with hook-and-loop fasteners for a tighter fit, keeping wetness and moisture out here too. The hem and hood have built-in Cohaesive™ cord locks that neatly conceal the drawcord.
It also has an integrated RECCO® reflector in case of extreme weather or if an accident should occur during your hiking adventure. RECCO® is a rescue technology used by organised rescue teams to locate people who have gone missing in nature or been buried in an avalanche more quickly. The reflector can be described as a small antenna built into the jacket, so it is always with you. It is not powered by batteries and does not need to be activated – it is always on. When in use, the rescue team uses a RECCO® detector that sends out a signal. When the signal hits the reflector, it bounces back and the reflector can be located. With a built-in RECCO® reflector, you can feel safer during outdoor activities, e.g. when picking mushrooms and berries or hiking on unfamiliar ground.
