Pinewood × OnceMore® – The forest gives. We create. You wear.

Pinewood × OnceMore® – outdoor garments made from Swedish wood-based fibres combined with recycled cotton from used textiles. Together with Södra, we turned that into clothing built to last, from the trail to the everyday.

The forest has always been our second home. Now it becomes a part of what you wear.

The forest is more than a place – it’s a way of life. It has protected us from the elements, provided for us, and shaped who we are. It’s where we find freedom, comfort, and the strength to keep moving. That’s why we bring the forest into everything we do. Together with Södra, we take that mindset one step further. With OnceMore®, forest fibres and recycled textiles come together to create something new.

OnceMore® blends wood from sustainably managed forests – mostly in Sweden – with textile fibers, creating a material that stays true to our roots. Tough enough for the wild, comfortable enough for everyday wear.

For us, it’s not about following trends. It’s about making clothing that works, lasts, and belongs. Garments shaped by the same forests we come from – and designed for the life lived in them.

Our roots run deep in the Swedish forest – in Småland – where resourcefulness and respect for nature shape everything we do. OnceMore® shares that same spirit. Born from sustainably managed Swedish forests and recycled textile fibres, it’s a material that speaks our language.

This isn’t just a collaboration. It’s a natural step. From forest to fibre, and back again. Together, we transform Swedish raw materials into outdoor garments built for the future – made with care, and close to home.

OnceMore® – Circular Textile Recycling Explained

A circular Innovation from the forest

OnceMore® is an innovative and circular solution for the textile industry, developed by Södra – one of Sweden’s largest forest owner associations. By combining renewable raw materials from the forest with recycled textiles, a new material is created that reduces waste and contributes to a more sustainable future.

How OnceMore® transforms textiles

At the core of OnceMore® is a unique, large-scale recycling process where blended textiles are broken down and given new life. Cotton is separated from polyester, allowing the cotton fibers to be recovered and combined with wood-based cellulose from responsibly managed forests. The result is a new dissolving pulp that can be used to produce fibers such as viscose, modal, and lyocell – materials that are then transformed into new garments.

Traceable materials, consistent quality.

The textile waste used in the process is traceable and carefully selected to ensure consistent quality over time. Today, OnceMore® material contains up to 20% recycled cotton, with a clear ambition to increase that share further.

A natural choice for Pinewood

For us at Pinewood, OnceMore® is a natural step forward. By using this material in our garments, we combine durability and function with a more circular approach – where resources are reused instead of wasted.
