#EmbraceLife
In our campaign against cancer, #EmbraceLife, we want to celebrate life!
We wish to encourage more people to embrace both nature and life in all its forms. The fresh air, forest, and the healing power of nature can aid recovery and improve mental well-being, especially during times of stress and challenge. Whilst we at Pinewood can’t cure cancer, we can help by inspiring people to experience and embrace nature’s restorative qualities. #EmbraceLife is an initiative that highlights the power of nature as a part of recovery, reflection, and positive mental health. Nature has a unique ability to bring us together.
Like many others, we too have felt the relentless force of cancer. Several members of our Pinewood family have faced the disease head-on, either as patients or standing beside loved ones in their battle. That’s why we are committed to acting and making a difference.
From October 17 to 31, we will donate all profits from purchases made through our e-commerce to cancer research.
Health challenges
By highlighting the power of fresh air and the calming embrace of nature, we aim to inspire a deeper connection to the outdoors. Join us in our health challenges and take this opportunity to make a change. Share your journey with us by using the hashtag #EmbraceLife. Be sure to bring along family and friends to participate in the challenges together!
Here are a few challenges to get started:
- #BackyardExplorer
Discover Your Local Nature: Explore a new trail, park, or nature reserve each week. Inspire others by sharing your discoveries and adventures!
-#DigitalDetox
Digital Detox: Once a week, take a full day or just a few hours off from screens and spend it outdoors. Enjoy the silence, read a book under a tree, or hike at your own pace.
-#10minWalkInThePark
10-Minute Mindfulness: Sit in a forest or park for ten minutes each day and listen to the sounds of nature. Practice being present and let go of daily stresses.
-#LitterLess
The Collection Challenge: Bring a bag on your walk and pick up any trash you find along the way. Help keep nature clean and give back to the environment.
