The heel, toe, and sole are reinforced to prevent tear and the waistband is designed to keep the sock from slipping down in the shoe during use. The top has ventilation areas to release excess heat for a cool feel. The material also has an impregnation to keep mosquitoes and ticks away from the fabric.
