Hundstallet

For us at Pinewood, nature and outdoor life are a natural part of everyday life – often with a dog by our side. But not every dog is that fortunate.

That is why we have entered into a partnership with Svenska Hundskyddsföreningen Hundstallet, an organisation that works every day to give homeless and vulnerable dogs a new home.

Hundstallet operates at three locations in Sweden: Örkelljunga, Stockholm and Alingsås. Dogs are taken in for a variety of reasons when they can no longer remain with their owners. Behind every dog that finds a new home is a team of people who welcome them, get to know them and make sure they are well cared for while they wait – often for a long time and with a great deal of patience.

It is these people, and the dogs they care for, that we want to support.

“Spending time outdoors with your dog is a natural part of everyday life for many of us, and it is easy to forget that not every dog has that opportunity. Hundstallet does invaluable work for dogs that need help finding a new home, and we want to support that work in a meaningful way – not just with words. It feels completely right for us as a brand,” says Nicholai Stein, CCO at Pinewood.

Through the partnership, staff at Hundstallet’s three facilities will have access to Pinewood clothing suited to the work they do every day, whatever the weather.

But the partnership is about more than clothing. Together, we aim to make it easier for more people to find their way to Hundstallet – whether as dog owners, volunteers or monthly donors.

“We are very pleased to begin this partnership with Pinewood. Our dog carers spend a large part of their working day outdoors, whatever the weather. The fact that Pinewood wants to provide clothing suited to their work means a great deal to us. At the same time, the partnership gives us an opportunity to raise awareness together about dog welfare and how more people can help give dogs in need a second chance,” says Per Leander, Secretary General of Hundstallet.
